Flashback Friday...Remembering Grandpa Thomas
I just thought I would put a great family picture with us kids and Grandpa Thomas on the flashback this Friday. I was watching my old home movies of when Shad was little and I saw some video of him since he lived with mom and dad at the time. It made me think of him and how Shad and Jordyn called him "candy Grandpa". They still talk about him and remember visiting him at the Retirement Manor. Don't you just remember those dresses Kerry and Christine!!

Holy cow... how on earth do I still remember that dress. It's so funny some of the things that just stick in your brain. Too bad we lived out of state, my kids never really got to know Grandpa Thomas. Oh well.
The picture of Les with all the kids reminds me of exactly what he looked like with Shad and Jordyn and all the great grandchildren. He looked almost exactly like that. Hard to believe that it was some twenty years earlier.
Yes - I totally remember those dresses that Nancy made us - that one was one of my favorites :). There was one such set of dresses (not sure if it was these or others) that we got for Christmas and I remember opening the package and re-wrapping it therefore ruining the surprise on Christmas day :( - what a crazy kid! Also – GREAT pic of all of us with Grandpa Thomas. I really need to get copies of all of these pictures and do a scrapbook with them.
